Farewell Hop Shop Porter

At my last visit to the Hop Shop in Gray, Ed informed me that business was terrible and he was closing at the end of March.  Decreased business, internet sales, competition, etc, are to blame.  (Guilty as charged.)  Ed has been in business 25+ years and has seen me through multiple stages in brewing; all grain, kegging cider production, as well as help(?) for the infamous Beet Lager.  He has always been a reliable source of beer knowledge and wisdom.  "Have fun" in the next chapter of your journey.

So in his honor I brew this porter with closeout supplies from the Hop Shop.  He had no base malt so I picked up malt extract from Fareshare.
